A large volume of air, such as 1000m3/h, guarantees that pollutants are effectively extracted without great concern about the exact positioning of the hood. By using Plymovent ES-90 the total volume of air is reduced to approximately 10-20% of the actual extracted air volume (1000m3/h during operation gives a working day average of 100-200m3 extracted air per hour, as the fan is only running during welding).
